Protein Domain : MSMEG_1276-like, nucleoside triphosphate pyrophosphohydrolase domain IPR038735

Type  Domain
Description  The domain can be found in some uncharacterised hypothetical proteins from archaea and bacteria. Although their biological roles remain unclear, the family members show significant sequence similarity to the dimeric 2-deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate nucleotidohydrolase (dUTP pyrophosphatase or dUTPase) and NTP-PPase MazG proteins. However, unlike typical tandem-domain MazG proteins, this group of proteins contain a single MazG-like domain [ ].
