Protein Domain : G protein pathway suppressor 2 IPR026094

Type  Family
Description  G protein pathway suppressor 2 is involved in G protein-mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling cascades. When overexpressed in mammalian cells, this protein could potently suppress a RAS- and MAPK-mediated signal and interfere with JNK activity, suggesting that the function of this protein may be signal repression [ ]. This protein is a component of the N-CoR-HDAC3 [] and alsothe SMRT corepressor complexes [ ].
