Type  Family
Description  Members of this protein family are EutA, a predicted arylmalonate decarboxylase found in a conserved ectoine utilization operon of species that include include Rhizobium loti (Mesorhizobium loti), Silicibacter pomeroyi and Sinorhizobium meliloti 1021, where it is known to be induced by ectoine.
