This domain can also be found in testis-expressed sequence 10 protein (TEX10).In Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Ipi1 is a component of the RIX1 complex required for processing of ITS2 sequences from 35S pre-rRNA [ , ]. In humans, TEX10 is a component of some MLL1/MLL complex, a protein complex that can methylate lysine-4 of histone H3 [ ].
